Ryan is a former assistant attorney general who has litigated complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts across the country. His cases have crossed a wide spectrum of substantive legal areas, including insurance, tax, municipal liability, creditors’ rights, civil rights, and commercial collections.  His current practice includes:

  

  • General business litigation: representing small businesses, landowners, creditors, and individuals  in disputes before state and federal courts and arbitration panels
  • Constitutional litigation: Representing property owners in litigation against governmental entities, including eminent domain litigation
  • Creditors' rights litigation: representing banks, factoring companies and other creditors in courts across Texas in commercial disputes and collection matters
